In Irvine on Wednesday November 12, 2013 a burned body was found inside of a car. Irvine detectives are investigating. According to police, a burnt out car was found by a local resident on Harvard Avenue. As the man came close to the car, he discovered a body inside.
Investigators haven’t yet given any details about the deceased.

Sentencing for Anaheim Murderer

A jury in Santa Ana, California has delivered its recommendation in the sentencing phase for convicted murderer Anthony Wade. Last month, an Orange County Jury found Wade guilty of rape, torture, and murder. The victim was 84 year old Bessie Mae Whyman.

Wade had entered Whyman’s house through a broken window in 2010. She was tortured with a saw and multiple knives.

Wade:

  • Tortured her
  • Murdered the elderly widow
  • stole her vehicle
  • attempted to use her credit card

He was eventually captured at a nearby supermarket.
